how it works:

1

Submit your best 3 pieces of artwork. This can include posters, illustrations, or other design-related works that showcase your style and skills.

2

Thirty artists will be selected by a panel of five curators, made up of artists, designers, and creatives from the Austin area.

3

The chosen artists will create original 8x8” prints based on a theme inspired by local nonprofit Urban Roots.

4

These prints will be sold at The Big Little Print Show Opening Night on Thursday, November 14, during EAST Austin Studio Tour, November 16-17, and at the Closing Reception, November 22 @ The Funsize Office.

5

Profits will be donated to Urban Roots.

The non-profit:

Urban Roots

This year, The Big Little Print Show proudly supports Urban Roots ATX.

At Urban Roots, we work with youth and community towards a thriving, equitable, and sustainable food system. To achieve this, youth leaders and our community grow fresh food for our neighbors facing food barriers, and we aim to support them in building an Austin that has achieved food equity for all.

Youth in our programs strengthen their leadership skills by teaching volunteers, get their hands in the community and in the soil, and learn about the intricate food system around them. With the volunteers they lead, we lovingly grow nutritious and fresh food for our community.

Together with fellow food access organizations, dedicated volunteers, and other members of our community, we’re growing a more joyful food future in Central Texas.
